Samantha Becotte (Samantha Becotte) joined North Battleford teachers today and had a simple message for government.
'We've had a decade—a generation!—of kids who haven't received the supports that they truly need. Get back to the table. Start making real commitments.'
Students, parents and teachers all want the same things: smaller classes, less complexity, more supports.
It's been done in other provinces and is not a novel concept—despite what our government says.

Out early this morning to walk the walk for my students! I will keep doing this for my students! The honking and support is felt 🩵 #IAmSTF #WeAreSTF #ISupportSTF Samantha Becotte Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation Jeremy Cockrill Scott Moe
It's time for our government to come back to the table and start engaging in meaningful conversation around class size and complexity, violence in the classroom and supports for our students. Teachers have had enough.
Keep tagging us and using #ISupportSTF in your posts. ✊
I LOVE TEACHING. But the cutbacks, lack of support, and crammed classrooms have made me (and thousands of others) feel helpless. Please contact our government and tell them that you want to see REAL CHANGE. Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation Regina Catholic Schools Teachers’ Association

Even a staggering -41 windchill couldn't stop us in Regina!
Alongside thousands of fellow teachers, we braved the freezing cold, all for a cause close to our hearts: better learning conditions for all students in Saskatchewan.

Government can solve the problems that students and teachers are facing in schools today, but why are they choosing not to?
It’s time to make kids a priority. 🕒

Check out our snowy mountains! We added shadowing to our mountains and worked on adding trees to them foreground and background! #visualarts #grade34 Deshaye Catholic
