This is such a bad solution.

I’m biased, I know, but cutting librarians doesn’t actually save money. It costs the school district in the long run.

Our kids deserve better.

Never shut up about your work. No one cares more than you, so talk about it all you want. As long as you shine a light on others, occasionally shining it on you is fine. Also, books don’t have expiration dates, so your work is always new to those who haven’t read it.

quick reminder that it’s ok to say that you love reading and that reading is your passion without reading 30+ books in a year. if you connect with books and love the power of the written word, you’re bookish. you don’t need to justify your love of reading. 🩵
