HANDOVER CEREMONY! UBTS receives brand-new equipments worth 1.3 BILLION shillings from Malaria Free Uganda - MFU and partners like Ecobank Group Ecobank Uganda, African Leaders Malaria Alliance (ALMA), Ministry of Health- Uganda, NBS Television,Pilgrim Africa & more! Enhancing blood transfusion services for a healthier Uganda!

Earlier today Joined board chairman Malaria Free Uganda - MFU MD of Ecobank Uganda Grace Muliisa Ministry of Health- Uganda and partners as we handed over equipment to UBTS to improve its capacity and efficiency.

With the recent developments in global malaria financing,there is need to increase domestic financing




Uganda’s #WalkAgainstMalaria, led by Uganda Parliamentary Forum on Malaria with support from Malaria Free Uganda - MFU, brings together parliamentarians led by Ministry of Health- Uganda' s Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng Ocero, Thomas Tayebwa of Parliament of Uganda including youth & private sector actors to raise awareness on prevention tools

I participated in the #WalkAgainstMalaria today morning led by Thomas Tayebwa . This event is supported by Malaria Free Uganda - MFU and @UPFM , Parliament of Uganda along with partners like NBS Television and others. The walk is intended to increase advocacy for domestic resources amidst reducing


The Deputy speaker Thomas Tayebwa has encouraged Government of Uganda to prioritize IRS in schools to minimize the burden in school going children. He also congratulated Ministry of Health- Uganda upon launching the MalariaVaccine.
