Final Clarke 10 Cats 5 Tonight we celebrated Senior Night and honored two great young men. Luke Williams pitched 2 solid innings and Tate Heidemann collected 3 hits on the night. We thank these guys for their commitment to Carlisle Baseball and the leadership they demonstrate.

Final Cats 3 Winterset 5 We conclude our regular season with another close battle that didn’t go our way. Postseason play will begin on Friday night as we host Clarke at 7 pm. 🤟🩷LLH

Carlisle JV Baseball wrapped up the season with a 19-6 record. Very proud of how these guys came along throughout the season. 🤟

Final in 5 inn. Clarke 1 Cats 11 Hayden Mohwinkle allowed one hit and pitched a gem! Kam Jorgensen with a HR, 3 RBI and Carter Berg had a HR and 2 RBI! We advance to the next round, playing at Grinnell on Monday. 🤟🩷 LLH

Tonight’s second round match vs Grinnell has been pushed back to 8 pm.

We are moving the game to Newton at 8:40 PM.

Our season came to an end tonight with a 10th inning loss to Grinnell.Tough, tough battle and we came up short. A special thank you to Tate Heidemann and Luke Williams as Senior leaders this yeah.Thank you to our bus driver,Jim, for driving us through the storm so we could play.

Raccoon River Baseball and softball is no joke.

Hayden Mohwinkle had stellar Junior season where he broke our school record for ERA, pitching at a 0.51 clip. This also led Class 3A. His 6-1 record earned him 1st Team RRC and 1st Team All-District honors!

Tate Heidemann was tremendous leader in his Senior season, leading our team on and off the field. As a three year starter, Tate was a dependable middle IF that played the game the right way. Hitting at a .325 mark, he led our team in hits and earned Second Team RRC honors.

Carter Berg started every game for us as a Freshman and was a key contributor to our success. With only 4 errors on the year, Carter was a dependable IF that also had a great season on the mound. Posting a 3.32 ERA, Carter earned 2nd Team RRC honors.

Logan Hart caught a majority of our innings and displayed an immense amount of growth from his sophomore to junior season. Throwing out 16 would be base stealers, Logan was the rock of our defense. Earning Honorable Mention RRC honors, we are excited to have him one more year.

Congratulations to Tate Heidemann on earning Second Team Academic All-State by the IHSBCA!
