Some hospitals are saying they don't need mask mandates anymore because people are likely to get COVID elsewhere anyway. That's a dereliction of duty. Regardless of what is happening elsewhere, no one should ever have to risk their health while seeking medical care. Do no harm.

Many ppl who are immunocompromised & high-risk have had access to society and public spaces taken away due to the lack of government leadership. When hospitals also abandon mask mandates, they are also taking safe access to healthcare away from the most vulnerable. Unacceptable.
