This thread is disheartening. Too many stories of bullying in medicine. There were even comments saying that sometimes this behavior is appropriate or needed. Let me be clear: a physician should never yell at or bully another physician, resident, nurse, clerk, etc. It is wrong.

It's pretty amazing that all these years American parents have been following the 'No Peanuts' rule in schools, even though *their* child doesn't have peanut allergy.

I'm a pediatric surgeon. I have held weeping family members after losing a child to gun violence more times than I can count. I've been speaking out for sane gun safety laws for years. Enough. #ThisIsOurLane #DoctorsForGunSafety

This is 4 hours of traumas at my hospital... There is NO internal consistency for lawmakers who believe in the sanctity of life so much to ban abortion, but not enough to fight for gun control. FYI, GSW = Gun Shot Wound. #ThisIsOurLane #DoctorsForGunSafety #GunControlNow

PSA to docs in bigger hospitals: don't yell at rural docs for transferring seemingly easy patients to you. We don't have the same resources, ancillary staff, equipment, specialists, etc. that you have. Yelling and belittling is never the answer!

Seeing how much the world accepts that it’s impossible to move on after watching CPR really makes me think about how we (medical professionals, especially those who work in Emergency departments) are expected to just move on immediately after a code.

This is terrifying. I'm glad I don't live in Idaho or one of the other states that continue stripping a physician's ability to provide evidence based care. It is WRONG for them to even suggest banning mRNA vaccines or other evidence based care. This behavior WILL kill people.
