2/2 He hadn't known us for about 4 yrs but he knew my voice and my touch. I was there for hrs every day. At lockdown he missed that, you could tell. Staff also knew but hands were tied. He just went downhill every day x #Panorama #Alzheimers

3/3 Funeral arrangements are surreal, all done over phone. Only 15 ppl allowed but scaffs lined road from ours. You miss family and friends calling and talking of your memories. A hug, a touch of a hand all missing. #Panorama #Alzheimers x

its not fair on floor staff. Some are working in excess of 65 hrs per week and its an accident waiting to happen. I have group hugged many of them before lockdown, and can see most of them needing support when we come out of this x

It's been a nightmare all round. Sometimes those in sorted living are missing out. Take care as off to wait on nurse coming x

We're proud to be working alongside the NHS and other charities to help save lives through the vaccine roll out. If you have a health condition that means you are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine, the NHS will contact you to arrange your vaccination appointment.
