GRADE 9 DAY This Thursday, Sept. 18, our Student Council has planned an afternoon of fun activities for our grade 9 students. This Gr9 Day event will take place at school during periods 3 and 4. Our Grade 9 Meet The Teacher Night is also this Thursday, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

The St. Mark's by-the-Lake Church is pleased to host incredible presentations for parents/caregivers and educators this year. We kick off the school year with a free workshop, "Anxiety Coping Strategies", on September 24th. Maryvale professionals will be leading the workshop.

From 11:00am until 5:00pm, the Homestead invites visitors to celebrate autumn the old-fashioned way with cider pressing, sausage stuffing, corn husk crafts, pony rides, and more! Ticket sales are available in advance this year as well as at-the-door.

Do you know an amazing educator? Nominations are being accepted for 2026 Prime Minister’s Awards in Teaching Excellence, Teaching Excellence in STEM and Excellence in Early Childhood Education. Nominations can be submitted by parents, colleagues and community members.

We would like to congratulate CC grad Antoine Taouil on earning 8 of a possible 13 awards at the Mark Boscariol 48-Hour Flick Fest as part of the Windsor International Film Festival. We look forward to seeing what your filmmaking future has in store.

CC welcomes the virtual presentation from the University of Ottawa for Monday, Nov. 24 during period 4 for our senior French Immersion students.  The presentation will focus on advantages and career opportunities available to students who pursue French studies after high school.
