Changes to free parking in Cardiff come in to force next week. nation.cymru/news/changes-t… While it is reasonable to charge for parking, doing so in district centre car parks while leaving retail parks free undermines local businesses.

Charging the owner of the retail park at Leckwith (1/2 mile from Cowbridge Rd) £5/day per parking space would raise over £3mill a year. Across the city, this could provide 10s of mill each year towards improvements in public & active travel.
