I don't think TS is doing anything wrong. He's under contract in a top club, I wouldn't wanna leave either. It's Barça's move : bring a top GK to compete w/ him & have the balls to bench him if he doesn't improve. If it happens, he may even ask to leave in December as Piqué did.

I really enjoy watching this young OL team. Many players w/ good technique & dribbling skills like Merah, Moreira, Fofana. That English midfielder Morton is quite complete. But (yet another) Kluivert in DF is a bit limited IMHO. And good old Ghezzal seems washed up... #olpsg

Look at the distances Eric & Baldé have to cover when Celta moves the ball from side to side, constantly tucking in (ball on far side) then going wide & forward (ball side). You do that 3 to 5 times in a row & you'll undoubtedly be late at some point (fatigue, loss of focus).

Based on some players' behavior, body language and even words, there are clear doubts & hesitations around the high DF line. While everyone must fully buy in and stay synchronized to execute it flawlessly.

Still conceding/creating many chances & betting on outscoring opponents. Still sky-high DF line exposed by forwards' failure to press/track. Still over-relying on Pedri in midfield. Still conceding many openers in 1st halves. Still vulnerable on the wings. "More of the same".

Now that the DF faces a constant stream of counters while exposed, the millimetrical positional precision it demands forces the defenders into non-stop high-stakes decisions. I'd argue the defensive side of the team suffers from cognitive overload & decision fatigue.

I hope Messi issues a statement banning Barça presidential candidates from using his image (especially since they're not paying any image rights). He's a club legend & part of our shared history, not a political asset for an individual electoral campaign.
