Cape Abilities helped unload and organize the pumpkin patch at First Congregational Church of Chatham. Gerianne an individual in Cape Abilities Vocational Program put her job skills into action by running the register. She ended the day with a smile & pride in a job well done.

Individuals in Our Day Program recently enjoyed a trip to Heritage Museums & Gardens! Ronnie and Alex set off on a fun-filled adventure—exploring the beautiful grounds and taking in the incredible antique car collection.

Our day program took a fall trip to Crow Farm, where James and Meg had a great time exploring the corn maze, enjoying the beautiful weather, and other festive autumn activities together. 🍂

Today we celebrated a milestone moment at Cape Abilities Farm — the groundbreaking of our new Community Space! We were honored to be joined by Undersecretary of Economic Development Ashley Stolba and our partners Davenport Building Company. Stay tuned for updates!

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month. At Cape Abilities, we see every day how meaningful work can transform lives. Whether it’s growing fresh produce at Cape Abilities Farm, greeting customers at Cape Abilities Thrift, or through our Vocational Program.💙

Last week individuals in our Day Program had an unforgettable experience at Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, where they learned about bird species, migration, and conservation — and even got the opportunity to help release several birds back into the bird sanctuary!
