Safety Spotlight #1 Automatic standby generators are permanently connected to your home and the items you wish to power during an outage, unlike portable generators. That means when your power goes out, you don’t have to risk the elements to connect potentially dangerous wires.

Safety Spotlight #4 Unlike portable generators, standby generators are permanently connected to your natural gas or liquid propane supply. This means that you don't have to refuel the system yourself or store small quantities of gas waiting for the next outage.
