Year 7 visited Bolton Parish Church to learn about Canon James Slade and the important links with Bolton Parish Church. Thank you to Revd Hannah, Revd Ian and the team at Bolton Parish church for hosting us.

Day 204 (Part 1): This morning I was invited to take a tour of Canon Slade School and to meet some of the school council and politics students. Canon Slade School has a very proud history dating back to 1855. Originally founded as a small parish school by Rev. Canon James

Thank you to the Mayor for a wonderful visit this morning to school and a excellent Q & A with representatives from the school council and A Level Politics students.

A massive thank you to all who contributed to the @Urbanoutreachuk Christmas Dinner on Jesus campaign. We were aiming to collect 700 boxes of stuffing, we managed to collect over 1000 boxes. Huge well done everyone!

Today pupils in the sixth form and year 11 received a very hard hitting but incredibly powerful presentation on knife crime. Some key messages taken from the presentation and a reminder of how precious life is. Thank you TheJJeffect CIC Anti Knife Crime, life coaching for your time.
