#MoorcroftMonday 'Bougainvillea' Plate by Walter Moorcroft
The design is the 'Bougainvillea' floral design in greens, browns and reds. This design was introduced in the early 1950s and was used with the flambe glaze as well as having naturalistic colours.

#TilesOnTuesday Tiles like this were made in Britain and parts of Europe to imitate Chinese blue and white porcelains that were very popular in the 18th and 19th centuries. This type of ware is often known as Delftware.
