A sad farewell to the wonderful Lou Gossett Jr, who signed a three-film deal with Cannon in 1986. (Only Firewalker was ever produced.) His next Cannon project was to be 'The White Slave,' playing a cop investigating a modern-day slavery ring, written by Stirling Silliphant.

Cannon deals include: The Barbarians, Death Wish 4, Duet for One, Fool For Love, House of Long Shadows, Missing in Action 1-3, Murphy's Law, Number One With a Bullet, Runaway Train, Treasure of the Four Crowns ($10 each), 52 Pick-Up, Mata Hari ($9 each), and Maria's Lovers ($6!)
