Homeschoolers were more forgiving, participated in more volunteer work, were more likely to attend church, and had lower risk of drug or alcohol abuse, depression, and suicide. fee.org/articles/new-h…

@FreshmanNext What do you mean by “self advocacy?” My kids drive cars, work jobs, shop, take lessons, attend church, cook meals, and hang out with friends. Like all of the other kids.

@TroyFer49458765 itz Ruhama Look at the human body in all of its insane complexities down to our DNA structure and tell me that it's all from random chance. The debate shouldn't be over creation or evolution. The debate should be over what we call our creator

Teaching your children about different worldviews is very different from sending them to be immersed in different worldviews. Education is discipleship.

While children in public school are taught astronomy from the viewpoint that “it just randomly happened,” you can dive deep into the magnificent creation of the universe by a loving God who designed the planets, stars, sun, and moon with purpose and precision. Homeschool.

@PuckLoptr As a Christian, I teach my children *everything* from a biblical worldview. Government schools teach *everything* from a secular worldview.

Nickitruesdell (@nickitruesdell) 's Twitter Profile Photo

If my goal for my children is ultimately eternal life, then my methods of homeschooling will not make sense to a secular world.

My favorite irony on X is the adults who display their utter lack of social skills to mock and belittle strangers who homeschool their kids for supposedly not teaching them social skills. I know this: my adult sons and daughters don’t treat people that way online or in person.

You’re not going to “put God back in school.” Public school is an inherently secular institution. Taking your kids out of public school and giving them a biblical, Christ-centered education at home is the answer.

Nickitruesdell (@nickitruesdell) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Reality Check @DvdButler Himynameis I reject the secular rejection of basic human biology, “gender affirming care” that mutilates children’s bodies, hopeless evolutionary theory, and any “science” that does not value the existence of life before birth.

Rachel Schlueter Maybe YOU have no clue. It’s literally an individually tailored education plan for each child. That’s homeschooling. How is that spin?

My youngest (14) asked for her homeschool graduation plan. She was inspired by her older brother's early graduation. So I give her an "empty transcript" as a to-do list. Once the list is complete, she will receive her diploma. It might take 2, 3, or 4 years. That is up to her.

My daughter sent me a photo of my grandson yesterday. He was tracing the word “frog,” learning the letter F, and she read picture books to him about frogs and tadpoles. He is the third generation of homeschoolers in our family.

Nekila That’s a lot to counteract. But I believe we should shelter our children, like seedlings in a greenhouse. Shelter is a good thing. “Real life” is kind of awful out there. My kids have grown up sheltered and not exposed to bullying or grooming or abuse. Three of them are adults,

Kevin Pannell Shawn Ryan Show You can socialize children in extra curricular sports and activities while homeschooling. Public school is federally funded babysitting. As a prior school aid I can say over half the day is spent redirecting disruptive behavior, and nothing is really learned

Decades of public education have produced a change from “history” to “social studies,” gradually downplaying the threats of Islam and Communism. If you wonder why America is increasingly socialist, and sympathetic to Islam, it’s because the children and university students have

AriannaMojica Greg Scott Jason I agree about the indoctrination center thing, one of the reasons I'm glad I was homeschooled. But if you only have one kid, then they should be around other people more often, not just family.

Belle littlebillie “Very little knowledge.” 25 years of homeschooling and various team experiences with 5 kids. Playing against a public school team isn’t even close to BEING on a public school team (locker rooms, bus rides, out-of-town trips, and boys-as-girls).
