Comparing the toll of Covid to the demonstrations over the weekend has me thinking: ‘Never have so few refused to sacrifice so little to save so many.’

This program is punitive against the majority of bc residents who already recycle responsibly. Its a new burden on low-income families who now face a 3% surcharge on essential products as well as the cost of transporting used cartons for the refund. #recyclage #carbonfootprint

And how about carbon. Did anyone calculate the carbon cost to have every household transport cartons to a central depot vs. a more efficient municipal collection system? #carbonfootprint
