Our #RidetoRemember team is well on its way to Ottawa. First day wearing their SSPS jerseys! Safe travels everyone. Ride to Remember Run To Remember #HeroesInLife #NeverForget

This morning the DRPS cycling team joined other police services in the Ride to Remember. The ride will end in Ottawa for the National Police Memorial. Paying tribute to all fallen officers who lost their life in the line of duty. You will never be forgotten.

This morning EAST DIVISION - Durham Regional Police Service presented a 13 year old youth with a new bike and helmet. He had his bike stolen last year and was being bullied at school. The OPP Youth Foundation will be providing donated bikes this year to support a series of bicycle giveaways along the route.

And they’re off to Port Hope! If you see the riders along way feel free to wave to show support as they continue their ride Ride to Remember.

Thank you to the Durham Regional Police cycling team for welcoming us into their group of riders and giving us the honour of leading the #RidetoRemember from the last rest stop. Ride to Remember

Thanks to Axon Canada for their long standing support to the Ride to Remember and our mission to honour those officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty. They are #HeroesInLife

It’s another beautiful day for cycling as the Ride continues into the Canadian Police & Peace Officers Memorial. A highlight for all of us is the bicycle donations made possible through the Ontario Provincial Police Youth Foundation. PC Adam Belanger champions the program making sure every bike is perfect!
