Amb. Ulric Shannon and our Development Canada team joined a thoughtful discussion in #Alexandria, hosted and facilitated by TDH, where #Refugees from 🇸🇾 🇾🇪 🇮🇶 🇸🇩 courageously shared their stories and hopes for a brighter future for their communities. #CanadaInAlexandria
In Dalmettia, Egypt today, observing UN-supported initiatives focused on youth engagement, climate action and nature based solutions, refugee support, and women’s empowerment. Diverse programs addressing local and global challenges. World Food Programme UN Development UNFPA UNICEF UN Women
Chapeau
SCI thanks the Government of Canada and Mr. Randeep Sarai, Secretary of State for Development Canada for visiting one of our partner hospitals in Egypt. Together, we continue to deliver vital humanitarian and healthcare support to vulnerable families and children. Canada in Egypt
Honoured to meet Randeep S. Sarai and I commend Canada’s strong commitment to safe, orderly and dignified migration. IOM Egypt 🇺🇳 looks forward to strengthening the existing collaboration to support migrants and host communities in Egypt and across the region. Development Canada Canada in Egypt
Many thanks to Canada in Egypt for the partnership and collaboration. We are excited to further our joint efforts in support of #EveryChild in Egypt, vulnerable, refugees, migrants and host communities. يونيسف مصر
Canada’s partnership with Plan International Egypt, is helping thousands of women build brighter futures and gain financial independence. At a weaving site in Egypt, Sec Sarai saw first-hand how they are generating sustainable incomes and bringing their products to new markets.
The many Palestinians who have been evacuated to Egypt include children who urgently need medical care. During a hospital visit, Sec Sarai saw how Save the Children US—supported by Canada—is working to make sure every child gets the treatment they need.
