The 2nd day of the #NPM Validation Session, the team reviewed a resume from the previous day and conducted a comprehensive assessment of the #NPM and accepted and validated the NPM draft at their respective levels. The draft will now be forwarded for validation to MinsanteCameroun

The aim of a nutrient labeling system is to identify unhealthy foods and to discourage excess consumption of them. It is important for the consumer to know the Cameroon Label, use it to determine products that are unhealthy and reduce their consumption.

According to The Post newspaper, CMR has been rated worst among African countries for the Tobacco Interference Index. This is a call for concern as tobacco is a trigger of #NCDs . As of now in CMR 43% of deaths are caused by NCDs, we need to invest to protect the population.
