After a lot of fundraising we are pleased to say our ubiquitous RTV is now being deployed.

Team members took turns during training to practice assembling and disassembling the casualty rescue mule today. (if Benny Hill did search and rescue)

Suicidal thoughts are common but some of the facts especially regarding our young folk are staggering.

The team are looking forward to what undoubtedly will be another excellent #Estafest on 8th & 9th August. So much is planned to see and do and remember it won the East Anglian Festival of the Year in 2024. We will be there – and we hope to see you there too.

There are lots of beautiful vehicles attending this years Cambridge and District Classic Car Club Rally next to Ely Cathedral today. Come along and see them if you get the chance.

Meanwhile we are also happy to be attending the Open Day at the Littleport Grange Care Home. Strategically parking next to the ice cream van, some members seem to be especially enjoying this event today.

This morning we were presented with a fantastic cheque for £2,500 by the Mayor of Ely on behalf of the Ely Community Events Team. The day also served as a launch of the preparations for this years Fireworks Event taking place on 1st November with tickets on sale soon.

We are most grateful to the Wellcome Genome Campus for allowing us to use the site for a recent training day which included navigation skills and crime scene management and a search exercise. #wellcomegenomecampus
