Buchholz stays perfect and advances to the 4S Region 1 final. Big second quarter created the distance for the Bobcats.

Sharks finally break the unanswered streak on a 67-yard connection from Burk to Madson. First points for Ponte Vedra since the 11:53 mark of the second quarter.

Buchholz lead cut to 13 with 4:15 to play.

Bobcats senior safety RJ Livingston picks off Burk to get Buchholz the ball back with just under 8 minutes to play.

Buchholz one quarter away from advancing. They’ve been hard to stop for most of this one, but a slower quarter offensively for the Bobcats.

Couple shots at another touchdown, but Buchholz takes a field goal on their latest drive. Bobcats still lead Ponte Vedra 34-14 with 5:30 left in the third.

Bobcats get back in the red zone and pick up where they left off. Johnson finds Williams in the corner of the end zone for a 6-yard score.

All set for the second half. Ponte Vedra will try to get something going from their own 20.

Halftime at Citizens Field. After facing an early deficit fueled by an opening-drive pick-6, Buchholz has been rolling. 21 of the Bobcats’ 24 points have come unanswered by Ponte Vedra.

Buchholz only needed one play for that drive. Johnson hits Justin Williams over the middle for a 60-yard score.

Bobcats up to 21 unanswered points on Ponte Vedra. They lead 24-14 with about a minute left in the half.

Bobcats take their first lead of the game and have scored 14 unanswered. 17-14 Buchholz with 3:02 left in the half.

Ponte Vedra’s lead is cut to four with 8:23 left in the half. Sharks lead Buchholz 14-10.
