I've said it for a decade now: these people conflate the words 'sexist' and 'sexual.' Calling a woman a 'dumb bitch' in the course of heated commentary is a sexual (meaning: pertaining to the target's sex) insult, not a sexist (meaning: discriminatory based on her sex) one.
