We've been waiting many months to complete this job, but the weather and the boys came up trumps this week. 8th carry drainage trenched, piped, gritted, and mostly capped with rootzone. All existing drainage has been rodded and flushed. Tees at 6 and 9 are back in play.

Water, water everywhere, just when you think you've turned a corner, over 37mm in the past 36 hours. Holes changed for the wknd, though we're closed today. Ends of the 8th tee ramps turfed in, though we almost need a boat to get it there. Also finished off sides of the 17th path.

Managed to spray the par 3 greens again today with Basfoliar Black & Avant Natur liquids. Fingers crossed for more spray windows . #fingerscrossed #productiveday #Spring2024 #caldygolfclub .

Sprayed our main greens this morning with Aqueduct & Revolution #Aquatrols .

First cut on new tees at 6 and 9, at 12mm, worth the extra for turf mown at 16mm, #Tillers coming up trumps again. Chris also put a dressing on levelled 3rd white tee.

Pathway completed at 17, hole should be open for the weekend. 17th green post renovation, cut this afternoon at 6mm. More sand Thursday. Inland tees scarified and cleared, #Greentek units doing a clean job. Tom out putting the first cut on our extended surrounds. Coast tomorrow.

Paul sent the done up to catch Lukasz spreading sand, only his third go, boy done good. All dressed and seeded with Fescue, thanks to Paul and Joe who stayed to finish.

17th has path finally dry enough to turf. Double scarified greens, topdressed, then overseeded. Brushed and matted. Inland tees hand mown, nice job Chris, and surrounds matted and mown. Holes changed after greens work. #Boom

Also today, another welcome addition to our fleet. Don't understand why we don't see more of these. No wheels to put in place, and a nifty little trailer that we can use for hand mowing. #Woodbay3900 #HentonandChattell , thanks James. Our 3rd unit, keeping the old one this time.
