Today we celebrated St. Teresa of Calcutta. We began the day with Trustee Mutala for our school opening celebration. Then, our students gathered together to create pictures showing how they can let their light shine forth. It was a fantastic day! Alene Mutala ECSD

Today was Orange Shirt Day at school. Students wrote prayers, learned Cree words, listened to stories, and made orange bracelets in honour of Truth and Reconciliation.

We are so grateful for our new park! Today was our Park Blessing and Grand Opening, including an Indigenous blessing and smudge from Elder Philip, a message from the Board of Trustees, and a Blessing from Fr. Glenn! It was a fantastic day! Alene Mutala ECSD

Snow! So much fun! Today the smallest snowman brought lots of joy!

Thank you to the Knights of Columbus for their very generous donation of new winter coats! Many of our students will appreciate the warm jackets this winter!

Our grade 1 students had a very exciting day! Lafarge brought some snowplows to school. Students were able to go inside, honk the horn, and write their name in the snowplow! The students were talking about this all day long!

Our very talented students performed their Christmas concert last Thursday. The sounds of their beautiful voices singing, Orff instruments and handbells playing filled out school with joy. It was amazing!

Our grades 1 and 3 classes have been busy building elf traps. It's been so much fun!

We are so grateful! Santa and some of his elves, with the help of many donors, came to give each student a gift, bag of candy, and balloon animal. It was wonderful to see the joy on our students' faces! Merry Christmas!

We are very blessed to be able to participate in a Writer's in Residency program with Karen Filewych! This past Thursday, Karen presented a professional learning opportunity for our staff, and on Jan. 30th, our students will begin their writing! Karen Filewych

Today our Grade 3 students visited the Churchill Residence for Bell Let's Talk Day. What a great way to spread some love and cheer!

Yesterday some of our students visited some neighbours to drop off Valentines! Such a great way to spread kindness and love!

Our grade 5 students participated in the ECSD Innovators day today. Students had a great time learning and engaging in the many excellent activities! ECSD

Tonight we are blessed to be able to attend the Road to Joy YONA concert! Our students, along with others, sure know how to put on a great show! Today we celebrate 10 years of YONA, which first was started at St. Teresa of Calcutta school.

Our Grade 3A class has been learning in coding school! So much fun!

Today we celebrated our Year End liturgical celebration and our Grade 6 Farewell! We will miss our grade 6 class but know they are leaving us to go change the world, making it a better place!

We are excited to be welcoming our staff back on Monday! We are even more excited to see our students on Tuesday after Summer vacation!
