We’re sending a message to management: Appealing the court's bankruptcy dismissal is wasting taxpayer dollars. Our patients come first!

To ensure that our patients get the care they need, nurses know that California must remove all medical debt from credit reports!

#SB1061 would end this destructive practice by prohibiting consumer reporting agencies from including medical debt on credit reports.

Last week the courts dismissed Hazel Hawkins’ bankruptcy claim. Instead of focusing on patient care, management is directing taxpayer money towards an appeal.
