Huge news for California drivers – the Tesla supercharging network is opening to non-Tesla vehicles!

Less than 9% of the plastic we throw away ends up recycled, which is why California is working to make our plastic recycling laws—the strongest in the country—even more effective by holding manufacturers accountable.

Today, EPA - Pacific Southwest and CalEPA released a plan for joint enforcement work to protect CA communities overburdened by pollution. The 2024/25 Action Plan builds on the groundbreaking federal-state partnership that was launched in 2021.

The rise in plastics production is exacerbating the global plastics pollution crisis and driving up global emissions.

Bottom line: We can’t solve the climate crisis without slashing the production of plastics.
