Thinking of our Garda Info colleagues this evening dealing with serious disorder in #Dublin after a horrendous stabbing incident today. 😞 Mindless violence never solves mindless violence, but is often resorted to. 🤬 Look after one another & stay safe please. #ThinBlueLine 🚨

Thoughts and prayers for Finola and family on the very sad passing of a true gentleman, Justin McCarthy. Lovely man who had the midis touch with people. So sadly missed. Great I/C.

It’s an important day as Representative Associations come together to stand up for our future, for a fair pension for our members. Thanks to our AGSI National Executive members and Secretariat for joining today and addressing TDs & Senators at Buswells Hotel. #Pensions #Post2013

A strong, collaborative stance today as we advocate and fight for fair pensions for our members. This is now a significant barrier hindering recruitment into An Garda Sìochàna and is also contributing to an increasing retention problem in the organisation.

AGSI is currently in a consultation process with Garda management surrounding the Code of Practice for the use of Body Worn Cameras by our membership. This Consultation process is ongoing. Today we received a demonstration at Store Street Garda Station on the new devices.

The 5 S’s of hurling are stamina, speed, strength, skill and spirit. But the greatest of these is spirit. Although I have many Rebel friends and colleagues, but cheering for Clare to lift the Liam MacCarthy tomorrow. Mon The Banner!🟡🔵

Best of luck to Dan O'Meara as he lines out for Kildare in today’s Joe McDonagh Cup Final V Laois! Dan’s roots are firmly in East Clare. Dad Pat is from Tuamgraney & he’s a nephew of Frank, Mags, & Helen (RIP), & grandson of Frank & Marie (RIP). Bodyke GAA is behind you, Dan.
