All these headlines about a trans shooter when almost every other mass shooting is committed by cisgender men. There's a story about shootings and gender, but you're not writing it.

30 infants die and we recall 4.7 mil Rock ‘n Play Sleepers. 2 toddlers die and we recall 3.2 mil Calico Critters toys. 2 infants die and we recall so much formula that the US goes into shortage. Last year, over 6,000 children were injured by gun violence. Nothing. Nada.

We had an assault weapons ban from 1994-2004 that prohibited the manufacture or sale for civilian use of certain semi-automatic weapons and banned magazines with 10 rounds or more. Mass shootings dropped during that decade. We did it once and should do it again.

Got a membership renewal notice. Wrote a very polite response saying they disbanded the one thing that made membership worthwhile for me so I wasn't going to be renewing. Not trying to be snarky at all, just felt it was important they knew

Also bc of this my insurance only lets us get a small amount at a time for our kiddo who needs them so I'm constantly trying to get it refilled/picked up before we run out
