I've now been doing my fieldwork for a whole year.
I work with adults in the East End who had very poor experiences of school that have followed them into adulthood.

Lack of purposeful activity for young people in Scottish prisons leads to boredom, frustration and worsening mental health. Lack of access to their daily entitlement of 1 hour of fresh air and long periods locked in their cells, many of them reporting up for 22 hrs is a concern
