It happened! They were as good as I remember. Heading home after a quick but great ⁦ECLIPSE Subgroup⁩ meeting! ⁦Heather Wolfe⁩ ⁦Dr. Asya Agulnik⁩ ⁦Sara Malone⁩

1) In the September 2023 edition of PALISI travel adventures….taking a last-minute flight tonight to get home to my sick 🤒 toddlers. (Classic timing!) It’s Boston-Newark-Philadelphia which is….absurd but, ok. First plane is delayed so connections in Newark will be tight.

2) We land in Newark. Great! I realize Newark airport is enormous, and I need to get from Terminal A to Terminal C. Ok like, I can run, right? Wrong….

3) You take a shuttle bus across, I swear, AN ACTIVE RUNWAY FULL OF PLANES. In the dark. My bus driver just HONKED at a 747. As far as we can tell, there is no “driveway” for the bus….they just plow ahead around the planes and hope for the best.

4) We make it to Terminal C, where- I swear - a crowd of airport staff is waiting and greets us with shouts of “YOU MADE IT TO C!!” as if to say, congratulations, you survived the Newark Airport hunger games transport across terminals!!! We did not expect you to! 😂

5) It is a 22-minute flight from Newark to Philadelphia. The shuttle ride to Terminal C was 8 minutes. 😆#PALISI23
