Today, we celebrate the Feast of St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta, a woman of incredible devotion. May we have the courage to follow her example and remember her famous adage: “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

It’s International Literacy Day. May we all take time today to reflect on the gift of literacy in our lives and its many forms, including digital literacy, an increasingly important skill in our globalized world.

We welcome the season of fall today with open arms! Autumn – a time of bounty and harvest – is an opportune time to reflect on the many riches in our lives, provided with love by God and protected in faith by many hands.

On this National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we honour the children who never returned home, as well as Survivors of residential schools, their families and communities. We remember. We reflect. We participate in reconciliation.

Today, we celebrate World Teachers’ Day. Particularly, we recognize all Catholic teachers who spend countless hours facilitating faith-filled online discussions, assessing student work, and making their students feel at home in the digital environment. Thank you, teachers!

We join the world today in celebrating the Feast of St. Carlo Acutis, one of the world's newest saints, who devoted his life to evangelizing via technology. May we, like St. Carlo, have the courage to share our faith with others, both online and offline.
