This week’s Welsh Wednesday is all about the range of professions that make up the NHS workforce! The entire workforce are essential in contributing towards patient care. It is important to recognise the roles of each person and utilise everyone’s skills to help treat patients!

Medicine isn’t just about tests and treatments - it’s about the person sitting right in front of you. A good clinician understands the science. A great one pairs that knowledge with empathy, patience, and kindness.

The shoebox station is really a test of clear, precise communication. Your interviewer will follow your words exactly, so break actions into small steps, describe positions and movements clearly, and avoid assumptions. Stay calm when they act intentionally literal!
