As pointed out by Steven Mintz , to help vertical transfer students, credits need to transfer as applying to gen ed & major requirements. If 4-yr IHEs can't do this soon, then "Make it easier for 2-year institutions to grant bachelor's degrees" bit.ly/3U9OdRT #HigherEd

This NCES report bit.ly/3Je8lfB found, among 2009 9th graders who ever enrolled in postsecondary education, by 2021 (12 yrs after 9th grade) 30% had transferred between postsecondary IHEs: American Institutes for Research #highered Transfer from 1 IHE to another is very common.
