We had an action packed Mitzvah Day cooking marathon! Thanks thefelixproject for donating surplus food which the teens transformed into healthy meals for local food banks. Wonderful that Ben Rebuck, Sarah Sackman KC MP & Nagus Narenthira spoke to inspire the teens.

Diamonds are forever, however, our diamond, Stuart Diamond, CEO of Mitzvah Day, visited with friend Ez for the afternoon to talk to tenants @ Harmony Close. The wide ranging discussion covered everything from Mitzvah Day to Jewry in South Africa. A huge thank you to Stuart & Ez.

As part of Mitzvah Day 2024, year 6 performed the Mitzvah Hachnasat Orchim - welcoming guests. Year 3 were invited to come and share their love of reading. Everybody’s bucket was filled with Chesed. 😊

It was wonderful to be at the National Council of Jewish Women of Canada in #Yorkcentre for Mitzvah Day, where I attended the Fill A Purse For A Sister campaign which provides purses filled with personal necessities to women in shelters and will assist 1700 people this year.
