We have been sculpting Stone Henge out of clay in art today. Really impressed with everyone’s skill, patience and resilience.

We combined our study of Antony Gormley’s sculpture skills in Art with our Stonehenge knowledge in History to create our very own stone circle creations!

Here are just a few of the amazing non chronological Stone Age reports that we have been working on over the last week. Incredibly proud of all children, this final piece of writing is sensational!!

In RE we have been learning about the Jewish religion. This week we have found out about the importance of Shabbat including a family meal every Friday. We are lucky to have a wonderful Jewish bakery very close to our school, so we were able to try challah bread and grape juice.

We had lots of competitive pupils in our classroom today, lots of fun was had and a lovely end to our last full day together. Thank you for sending in some brilliant games for us to share. #year2
