🐦Wright created the 1st bird sanctuary in the United States (Birdcraft Sanctuary, 1914) which now is part of CT Audubon, of which she was also the founder (1896). She was an avid photographer &author, bringing nature to children & the masses through her work. #WomensHistoryMonth
