A1. I spend time at the beginning of the year working with Ss to build comm and collaborative skills. People rarely get to choose who they work with, but need to learn how to be effective with everyone. If everyone becomes a leader, also makes the learning env stronger #teachpos

A2. We work on listening to each other and building off that. Mistakes often have more value to the learning process than jumping straight to the right answer. This is an important opportunity to teach and strengthen empathy and discuss how everyone wants to be treated #teachpos

A3. Sometimes I see the misconception that if these skills aren’t already there, they never will be. Some feel so tied to content that they don’t have time to address these skills. I found that it’s worth every second as the classroom becomes far stronger and healthier #teachpos
