Excellent training session today up in Perth with the Central Scotland Wing Swimming Team in advance of the Regional Competition later this month. A number of cadets also had the opportunity to complete their Intermediate Swimming Proficiency Certificates.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.

As a CWO back in 2004, I was blessed to be part of an amazing team that saw 859 (Dalgety Bay) Squadron ATC represent D&CSW in The Lees Trophy. In 2024 and as OC 859, I am unbelievably proud that we have once again achieved this honour. Testament to the hardwork and dedication of our staff & cadets.

Exercise Central Ascent 2024 at NACATC Windermere has come to a close. My thanks to all staff involved for providing an excellent week of Adventure Training activities for Central Scotland Wing cadets.

Well done to the Central Scotland Wing Athletics Team who recently took part in the Scotland & NI RAF Air Cadets Regional Athletics Competition earning Sports Blues. Special mention for Sgt Nicol (1192 Sqn) who won The Swierczek Trophy and Cdt Broughton (2422 Sqn) who was joint winner of The Langley Trophy.

Amazing turnout at the 2024 Central Scotland Wing Inter Sqn Football Competition today. Well done to 38F (Perth) Squadron Air Training Corps who retain the overall trophy for second year running. Amazing effort from all of the cadets who took part in the Central Scotland Wing 2024 Inter Squadron Swimming Competition today. Congratulations to 1145 RAF Air Cadets who retain the Wing Swimming Trophy for second year running.

Well done to the Central Scotland Wing cadets who represented CSW in the Scotland & NI RAF Air Cadets Swimming Competition. We came 2nd overall only 1pt behind South East Scotland Wing. Sgt Wright won The Ross Trophy as Top Junior Girl and the JG and SG Teams came first winning The Miller (Joint) and Taylor Trophies.

Another amazing turn out by cadets and staff across Central Scotland Wing for Remembrance 2024. At our local service this year, the parish minister also touched on the sacrifice of animals in war and the significance of the purple poppy.

Look out for the brand new ew Central Scotland Wing sports kit making its debut this weekend at the Scotland & NI RAF Air Cadets Inter Wing Football Competition.

Excellent result at today's Scotland & NI RAF Air Cadets Inter Wing 5-aside Football Competition with Central Scotland Wing coming joint first overall on points. Well done to all of the cadets who represented CSW. Also the first event for our new sports kit.

A good result today at the Scotland & NI RAF Air Cadets Inter Wing Cross Country Competition in Livingston. 1st Place for our Junior Women and U17 Male teams & 2nd place for our U15 Male team. Placing Central Scotland Wing in 2nd place overall for 2025. Well done all!
