Weather permitting, the Under 14s travel to Queen Ethelburga's Collegiate for their final match of the 2025 cricket season. A match under the flood lights against our host’s Under 15s. Unfortunately, it is not looking too promising at the minute due to incoming rain! ☹️☔️

Friday, 7th November, 2025 sees the Under 14s hold their Presentation Evening at Hartlepool Cricket Club. There are many things to celebrate and reflect upon from the 2025 season. We will hopefully have a Q&A Session with a special cricketing guest! But who? NYACC

The following individual awards will be presented this evening to the worthy recipients : Batting; Bowling; Fielding; Most Improved Player; Coaches Player of Season; and Spirit of Cricket Award. There is also a special award, plus bespoke caps via COBRA CRICKET COMPANY. 🏏

Very sad to hear the MCCF Cricket is no longer taking place. A fantastic cricketing experience for all attendees. Great memories made at an exceptional venue for us in 2022 and 2023! Hats off to Don Topley (Toppers) for being an excellent host and a brilliant supporter of junior cricket.

At our Presentation Evening to celebrate the 2025 cricket season, players were presented with a special Cleveland Schools Cricket Association cap, supplied courtesy of cobra cricket : a “Baggy Burgundy”.

Saturday sees the start of the assessment sessions at High Tunstall PE to select the Under 15s side for 2026, which is the final age group for “Cleveland Schools”. We have 11 Cricket Clubs who have submitted nominations and a squad of 15 players to be selected. 🏏

This coming Saturday is the final assessment session at High Tunstall PE to select our Under 15s squad for the 2026 season. Well done to those who have attended the sessions. Finalising the squad will be extremely difficult. The selected squad will be confirmed in due course. 🏏

The initial squad of 17 players has now been selected for the Under 15s for season 2026. Players selected from : Norton Cricket Club; Sedgefield Cricket Club; Marton Cricket Club 💙; Hartlepool Junior Cricket Club; Normanby Hall CC 🏏; Thornaby Cricket Club; Middlesbrough Cricket Club; @ClubMaltb; Yarm Cricket Club; and Stockton Cricket Club. 🏏
