North of the intersection of 200th Street and 570 Ave (airport road) will be closed to 590 Ave due to non-injury accident involving semi-truck rollover. It will be closed for several hours. We will advise when it reopens. Buckle up and be safe.

200th Street from 570 Ave. to 590 Ave. is back open.

This week is National Police Week. It is a time to honor the men and women that protect and serve our communities. It is also a time to reflect and remember all those that have paid the ultimate sacrifice. Please keep all officers in your prayers, so that they will remain safe.

Thank you Crawford County Cares for dropping off the treats this morning in recognition of National Police Week.

The last section of the new radio tower was installed today. This tower was partially funded by a Federal Grant. $82,262 was awarded to the Sheriff’s Office for the project. The tower will vastly improve public safety communications for the western portion of Crawford County.

K-7 Hwy is closed between 690 Ave and 700 Ave (lake turnoff) due to semi rollover. Please avoid this area. It is anticipated the highway will be closed for at least another 2 more hours. Be Safe

K-7 Highway has been reopened.

590 Ave (Gooding Road) is closed today from K-7 Hwy to the Radley 4-way due to road repairs.

The Salvation Army and Walmart Stuff the Bus with School Supplies Campaign will be August 7-9. The Crawford County Sheriff's Office in Girard will also be a donation bin location starting today and will run through this Friday from 8-4. Thank you for supporting local schools.

Investigation and arrest was the result of a collaborative effort between Detectives from the Crawford County Sheriff's Office and the Pittsburg Police Department. It is another example of inter-agency partnerships coming together to fight crime and take drugs off our streets.

We are currently working two separate injury accidents. The first one is a semi rollover on K-7 Hwy north of 690 Ave. Traffic on K-7 will be rerouted, expect delays. The second injury accident is a two-vehicle involving a semi and a passenger car at south of 4th and the By-pass
