Pattern looks more energetic and colder in the east as we get into February. A new month can bring old wishes back to life :)

Mid to late month continues to look pretty interesting for snowstorm chances around here. Also getting close to peak climo time where you'd expect such things. #winter

The first measurable snow of 2021 arrived the same night our son and the Weather Services Club from Concord-Carlisle HS Zoomed with Eric Fisher from WBZ | CBS News Boston about storms, climate change, and weather forecasting. It was an exciting and picturesque night!

In 2022, we came to ⁦Plymouth State University⁩ to see our son ⁦Charlie Peachey⁩ receive his BS in Meteorology. One year later, we’re back to see him get his Master’s Degree in Applied Meteorology. He had a great 5 years here in Panther Country. Thank you ⁦Plymouth State University⁩!

You thought Thursday was windy? Notorious for its extreme weather conditions, Mount Washington — the Northeast’s highest peak — recorded a 147-mph wind gust early Thursday. trib.al/0xeu7EA

It was a pleasure being able to speak with Chris Gloninger, CCM, CBM again and help out with his recent article about the extreme winds at the summit. Speaking with other Plymouth State University meteorology alumnus about the weather is always a great time!!
