After a long, windy night it is official. The girls are sending 6 events to the Blue Oval for the best 3 days in May! 3000m: Avanti High Jump: Emily 4 x 400 4 x 800 Distance Medley Sprint Medley We will be joined by our teammates on the boys side with 9 events!

CPU State Track: There is so much to celebrate and be proud of as we look back at the State Track & Field Meet! Here are some of the highlights from Day 3 + Final Results. 🌟Girls Sprint Medley: School Record: 1:51.04; previously held since 2004

🌟Boys Sprint Medley: School Record, 3A State Champions, 3A State Meet Record, #5 All-Time Iowa History 🌟Boys 4 x 100: 5th Place. Going back to at least 2008, no CPU team has placed a 4 x 100 at the state meet. 🌟Boys 4 x 400: School Record, 3A State Champs, 3A State Meet Record

🌟Nathan Miller: 4 gold medals in a weekend! Based on the records we have, it appears no one in school history has ever achieved this feat. Team Standings Overall: 🌟Boys: Back-to-Back 6th place team finishes 🌟Girls: Highest team finish since 2023

Final IGHSAU IHSAA track championships numbers: 6,154 entries (3,158 Boys/2,996 Girls). 40,820 attendees spread over 3 days. A total of 55 new state meet records (spread over 4 classes). 14 new All Time Bests were recorded.

Had a good amount of interest out east so my 1st of 2 clinics will be held in north liberty! All info on flyer please let me know if you have any questions and look forward to seeing everyone soon! More info to come on 2nd clinic soon will be held in central Iowa on the 29th.

And the post season accolades continue for the boys program. Multiple All-State and Elite All-State selections. Special shout out to Coach Engen CPU Boys Track&Field for being nominated for At-Large 3A boys coach of the year!
