SC supported the NPCC traffic last night. Results included • 103 breath tests • 1 vehicle seized for no insurance • Issued 2 traffic offence reports • Issued 4 fixed penalties notices • Issued 3 vehicle defect notices

1/2 With the help of Cleveland Specials over 100 people were breathalysed as part of the ongoing National Police Chiefs' Council (NPCC) drink and drug driving awareness campaign yesterday (Weds). Fortunately, all tests were negative.

Our medicar will be out again this evening with our fabulous special constables giving up part of their bank holiday weekend to help their community. A huge thank you to all emergency service colleagues working hard this weekend. Have a safe weekend everyone!

Specials yesterday out supporting the bike event in Redcar, popped into some of the young people supporting the event.

Cleveland Special constables were joined this week by Cleveland Police Fed to sign up officers who can now join. A great milestone for our officers and we look forward to working together.

Yesterday we had two officers working with Eston NPT responding to community concerns regarding vehicles being driven at highspeed and running red lights, putting pedestrians at risk. A total of 10 drivers were reported for offences.
