The #ChicagoPolice Department's boxing team hosted a free co-ed youth boxing clinic at San Miguel School in Chicago's Back of the Yards community. These officers dedicate their free time to facilitating these clinics and encouraging these youths to reach their goals.

The Community Commission for Public Safety and Accountability held its second public hearing with Superintendent Larry Snelling Larry Snelling Tuesday night at the JLM Center. During the hearing, Supt. Snelling emphasized the importance of working together with the community to improve public safety.

Radcliffe Youth Sports Organization experienced a setback this month when its sporting equipment was stolen. Despite the theft, Coach Radcliffe is committed to continuing his community partnership w/ the Chicago Police Dept to bring positive alternatives to youth through sports.

On December 17, 2018, Officers Eduardo Marmolejo and Conrad Gary were killed in the line of duty while protecting our city. Together with the Marmolejo and Gary families, we paid tribute to their courage and honored their legacies at a memorial in the 5th District yesterday.
