What an absolute JOY to be with the Decolonising Development #SummerSchool, excellent intro by @J_Schoeneberg and sharing space with brilliant participants and colleagues Aram Ziai, Julia, Giti Chandra, Wendy Harcourt and Ashish Kothari. Only an hour in and learning from each other 🥳
Northumbria Centre for Global Development's PhD researcher maxine mpofu is attending the Decolonising Development #SummerSchool this week to explore #decoloniality in #development alongside colleagues from around the globe. #DecolonisingDevelopment
Wonderful day 2 Decolonising Development #SummerSchool, thinking about our relationship with nature and what is lost with Wendy Harcourt and reflecting on #decolonising popular culture with Giti Chandra and Aram Ziai - what thought-provoking discussions, learning through and with trust 🤗
Day 3 of Decolonising Development #SummerSchool, energy levels and engagement still high with Ashish Kothari, Aram Ziai and Miriam Lang! We're lucky to have such wonderful people coming together and being so willing to build collective trust and solidarity 🥹👏🏽🙏🏾
Doing our best #SummerSchool thinking with pieces of card and working together on the floor! 🥳🤗 Decolonising Development

Given recent concerns about 'that' letter and the withdrawal of a book chapter by a publisher as a result of confected nonsense about 'scientific rigour', good to see auto-ethnography being celebrated by this book! 🎉 Decolonising Development Convivial Thinking
So grateful for you too @J_Schoeneberg, what would I do without you? 🙏🏾 We are also grateful to Decolonising Development for providing the space and also open-access funding, so its free for all to read. All feedback always welcome!

In the end, we quote part of a statement on the Palestine-Israel conflict written by critical scholars engaged in ‘decolonising development’ asking for just peace and democratic coexistence of all peoples in multicultural countries decolonise.eu/statement-on-p… Decolonising Development
