Today members participated in the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade. The Colonia Volunteer Fire Department always takes pride in participating in township parades to show the community we are always here for them!

This morning members of CFD, Iselin FD D9 Woodbridge PD, and Woodbridge EMS held a remembrance walk on Inman Avenue. This walk was to remember all those who lost their lives on that horrific day.

Part2/ Today on the 23rd anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on our Nation. We honor all of those who lost their lives that day, and remember the bravery and sacrifice OF 343 members of the FDNY, 23 NYPD Officers, 37 PAPD Officers, and 8 FDNY EMS. and those we continue to lose.

Tonight members of the Colonia Fire Department conducted their weekly training. Members were able to utilize a Flow Path House to show the science behind fire flow path. Every open door and window is a pathway for air to be introduced into a structure and cause fire to travel.

This morning the Colonia Fire Department took part in the township Holiday Kickball Tournament Fundraiser. The tournament led by the Keasby Fire Department had several teams from township Fire Departments. A special congratulations to our very own team for winning 1st place!!!!!

We would like to congratulate and welcome our newest members Liam Hassett, Robert Macaluso, Russell Kizimaas. These three members were sworn into the department at tonight’s meeting! Best of luck to the three of you!

We are anticipating severe storms this afternoon across the entire state with a flood watch issued from 2:00 PM until 6:00 AM tomorrow. Please plan ahead and stay off the roads if possible.
