We will never forget. Today the Naval Air Station Corpus Christi Fire and Emergency Services hosted the 21st Anniversary 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony at the NASCC Fire Station. We remember the 2,977 lives lost that day, and the immeasurable sacrifices made by our nation.

Yesterday, our pilot for a day Seth Wilkey became an honoray Naval Aviator receiving his Wings of Gold from the Executive Officer of VT-35 on Naval Air Station Corpus Christi. He toured the flight line viewing a T-6B Texan, a T-44 Pegasus, and a P-3 Orion. U.S. Navy flynavy

#OTD in 1970, TORA! TORA! TORA! premiered. The spectacular scene with a P-40 crashing into other fighters was an accident caused when the stunt radio-controlled plane went out of control. The crew seen running for their lives were not acting. The director decided to use the shot.
