Spores of powdery mildew on a barley leaf. This parasitic fungus spreads over the leaf surface extracting nutrients from the barley plant. It then forms these upright chains of spores that readily spread the infection. πŸ“· our UQ facility CMM@UQ #microscopymondays #NCRISimpact
