'My name is not asylum seeker!' will be an exhibition hosted at Halifax Central Library and Archives between 3rd May and 13 June 2024.

The exhibition explores the everyday lives and experiences of people who have sought asylum in the UK.

Please be aware that Beechwood Road Library, King Cross Library and Mixenden Library will all be closed on Thursday 2nd May as they are active polling stations for this year's local elections.

They will reopen at their normal opening times of 10am on Friday 3rd May.

In our libraries we try to reuse & recycle materials for our children's craft activities & events, one thing we're looking for currently is wool & yarn! If you have any left over wool from a project please drop it in at the desk in your local library, we'll put it to good use!
